Q2. I need a budget price for building a custom stand.
 
A.

It is impossible to give an accurate budget for a custom built stand, as there are too many variables. As a very rough guide if it is based in the UK then you can multiply your stand size by between £250 and £500 per square meter but this is totally dependent on your requirements and the show venue. Some stands we have built have budgeted in excess of £1000 per square meter. For accurate prices please complete our stand brief form.

Q3. Do you build modular display systems?
 
A.

Abacus Abacus Exhibition and Display Services will build modular systems custom for you to be put together in a wide variety of ways. We do supply pre made modular systems that are available with a kit of parts. We sell leading brands at very competitive prices and are happy to beat or match any genuine like for like quote!

Q4. How many times do I need to hire a stand before it's worth buying?
 
A.

Abacus Exhibition and Display Services have based their hire prices on less than one 1/3rd the purchase price, so you will need to do more than three shows to make it worth while purchasing. The other thing to bear in mind is that all our hire equipment is in A1 condition, you don't have a storage charge and we have a choice of finishes.

Q5.

Is it cheaper to hire the furniture from Abacus or the organisers?

 
A.

There is no significant difference in price. In the main we use either Indisplay or Melville although we do have a stock of furniture available for hire directly from us. If you hand us the responsibility, you hand over the issue and the effort. We will be happy to order any furniture you wish supplied from the organisers on your behalf.

With so many similar items on the market in the UK how do I choose?

 
A.

At Abacus Exhibition and Display Services we are totally impartial and will advise you on what best suits your needs. Our Head Office has a large showroom in which to view the equipment we can supply. We will always take into account your budget, usage and reliability.

Q7.

Can you design and build a stand locally for my international event?

 
A.

Using our network of contractors we can either design and build a stand in the UK which can be then be shipped to the destination venue and assembled using local labour, or we can send our design to one of our working partners who will manufacture and install on our behalf with one of our team of project managers on site to oversee and ensure the smooth running of your event.

Can you store and ship our stand and manage our worldwide exhibition programme?

Abacus Exhibition and Display Services have many clients that use our expertise to project manage the logistics of the storage and shipping of their exhibition equipment. From a single pop-up to a complete modular or custom stand we have a network of agents and contractors all over the world.

I need something at short notice can you help?

 
A.

Things are always left until the last minute for one reason or another. Although we don't encourage it we have always had last minute requests and appreciate that we always will. Most modular displays are either in stock or on a short notice availability anyway. If we can't purchase it for you in time we can always offer you hire and depending on the size of the order it will be credited once your purchased equipment arrives.
