Pop-Ups
are undoubtedly one of the most effective and therefore popular
methods of exhibiting for many companies.
There are as many as 80
differing types of pop-ups available in the UK alone. If you
cannot find the solution that you are looking for or have
a particular requirement, including custom built, please call
on of the team here at Abacus Displays and Exhibitions on 08700

We are willing and able to
provide you with advice on pop up graphics.

Remember we will beat or
match any genuine like for like quote!
When considering your design
to be produced on the pop up surface, we would suggest that
you use large well defined images to convey your main message
through association. The level of graphic reproduction quality
used by us is very high and this is very important when you
use large images or pictures that you want to be crystal clear
from a distance but, also look equally professional close
up.
Follow the 'top two thirds
rule' which is that the top of the stand should be clearly
who you are, the second or central section should be what
you do. This can be by association or small text to get the
message across clearly. You could use the bottom third for
a strap line or your website address with some contact details
but only use the top part of the bottom third because the
closer to the floor you go the more you lose impact. |
In our experience the most effective
way of putting contact details and website address on the stand
is to write them up the sides (d-ends). These can then be backlit
to create a really eye catching display allowing you to stand out
amongst lots of similar pop-ups.
Some of these systems allow you to back light individual squares
on the pop-up itself. We design these areas of the graphics to be
printed on an Opal material (translucent). This is then lit from
behind the system with low heat slim line lights that can be attached
to the system quickly and easily. This is usually used to pick out
specific areas or highlight a new service or product. Our clients
have found these create a draw factor allowing them to capture peoples
interest long enough to get their message across.
Something else to think about
is a back lit bubble panel. These are a section of the pop up that
raises out from the main stand in a convex curve. They are usually
the full height of the system and one panel wide. These stand proud
of the other graphics on the pop up and turn the pop up into a much
more professional piece of display equipment looking more like a
permanent installation.
The pop up today is a very versatile
tool in the marketing world, the standard sizes are between 1.8
metres and 2.25 metres high, but this is just to allow them to fit
neatly under most standard ceiling heights. In bigger halls and
venues exhibitors like to go much higher to create even greater
impact. The pop up of today can now go to 3.8 metres quite easily
and we can modify these to go higher if you should feel the need.
We realise this is quite a lot
to take in at first and may appear a bit confusing, however if you
would like any advice please call us on 08700

Finally if you are designing
your own graphics you will need to correctly arrange the file to
send to us. To help with this we have prepared a Graphic set up
file to guide you, please feel free to ask if it becomes complicated.
